The Fluke 2042 is a professional cable locator for universal use.
It is ideal for tracing cables in walls and underground, locating fuses/circuit breakers in terminal groups and detecting current faults and short circuits in cables and electrical floor heating systems.
It can also be used for tracing metal water pipes and heating pipes.
The unit is available as a complete set consisting of a transmitter and receiver in a special carrying case.
The receiver also features a torch function for working in poorly lit environments.
